We move from Phil. 3:10-19 to 2 Tim 4:6-8. Paul was about to be killed. He testifies that he had run his race all the way to the finish line. It was then that he was able to say, "Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day..." Hallelujah! A Crown of Righteousness given by God Himself for a race well run. May it also be so for you!

Once saved always saved? Let's look at the apostle Paul's testimony about this in Phil. 310-19. And there you see the same thing I concluded in the last videos: if you meet the conditions of the Word the statement is true. If you do not, the statement is false. That is what God's Word says.

God says, "If you will obey Me, then I will bless you. If you will not, I will curse you. His requirements have not been relaxed. Jesus, in Matthew 5:17-20, clearly stated that they are even more stringent. The Old Covenant required obedience to the letter of the Law; the New Covenent requires obedience to the intent (Spirit) of the Law. But this can be done because God has provided a way of victory. He gave us His Son, His Word, His Spirit, and He, Himself, works in us that we may do His will, which is "TO BE CONFORMED TO THE VERY IMAGE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! HALLELUJAH! So, my answer to the question is: YES, I BELIEVE "ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED" IS TRUE, THAT IS, IF THE CONDITIONS OF GOD'S WORD ARE MET. BUT, IF THE CONDITIONS OF HIS WORD ARE NOT MET, THEN NO, THE DOCTRINE IS NOT TRUE.
